What's believed to be the body of a newborn baby has been discovered on a beach in County Dublin.
The discovery was made at Balbriggan shortly before 10 this morning.
Investigating Gardaí say the sex of the baby is unknown at this point.
The scene is currently sealed off and a technical examination of the area is underway.
Gardaí say they're concerned for the well-being of the child's mother and are asking her to come forward.
