Police say that a baby involved in a serious three-vehicle crash in Bangor this month is no longer in a critical condition in hospital.
A woman died following the collision on the A2 Bangor carriageway on November 10th.
The 15 month old is now said to be showing hopeful early signs, but is still facing a long recovery.
Detectives say a complex investigation is under way.
In a post online, the PSNI said: " The family are very grateful for your kind words, thoughts and prayers but would ask that they are now given privacy in these tragic circumstances."
