A concerned hill walker's removed a plaque installed in the Mournes to celebrate an engagement.
The cast iron monument was put in the mountains last month.
It's installation was met with anger by regular hikers who called it an eyesore.
The hill walker carried it down the mountain, and in a Facebook post said he'd propped it up against a CCTV pole at Donard Park football pitch.
He added, "A line has gotta be drawn somewhere - The baby fishes we saw this morning trying to start life in the upper Annalong river with rust run-off leeching into it was that line for me."
