Nine Covid-19 deaths have been reported by the Department of Health today with eight of those deaths occurring in the past 24 hours.
4,383 new cases of Covid-19 have also been recorded in that period.
There are 207 Covid-positive patients in hospital and 22 of them are receiving specialist care in ICU.
Of those 22 people, 17 are on ventilators.
The death toll stands at 3,086.
Nine hospitals are operating over capacity.
