The DUP has won the Mid and East Antrim council by election.
Peter Keith Johnston romped home in the Carrick Castle poll with just under 39 per cent of the total vote.
However turnout was low at just under 22 per cent.

The election was called to replace Independent Councillor Jim Brown who died in August.
