There are fears for the future of hundreds of jobs within one of Northern Ireland's leading construction firms.
Four companies within the Lagan Construction Group are expected to go into administration.
Q Radio understands staff were made aware of developments this morning.
In a memo seen by one worker, the group's Chairman Michael Lagan revealed that the business had been significantly impacted by delays and disputes involving a number of its projects.
The four companies impacted by the move are - Lagan Construction Group Holdings Limited, Lagan Construction Group Limited, Lagan Building Contractors Limited and Lagan Water Limited.
All other companies within the Group will continue to trade as normal and it's thought that around 200 jobs could be impacted.
Mr. Lagan said it was with great saddness that the business- which employs around 500 people - had no option but bring in an administrator.
