Fermanagh and Omagh District Council to become Living Wage employer

The council will follow in the footsteps of Belfast City and Derry City and Strabane councils.

Workers in Fermanagh are on the lowest average wages.

The living wage is set at £8.45 per hour.

Unite Regional Secretary, Jimmy Kelly is now calling on other councils to follow their lead.
