Fire service respond to a single vehicle colisson this morning
Appliances from Coleraine, Portrush and Portstewart were called to respond to a single vehicle crash in Portstewart this morning. A car had gone over the edge of the Crescent car park, with the driver needing to be cut free.
The incident happened just before 10:30am with the fire service using cutting equipment to expedite the man from the car. The driver is not thought to have sustained any serious injuries.
The fire crew were finished at the scene within twenty minutes. It isn't the first time such an incident has happened, with some people calling for protection to be put in place.
