Pupils from all over Ireland are descending on Newry today (Wednesday 22nd March), for the regional final of the Formula 1 in Schools contest.
The international STEM challenge has seen groups of students aged 11-19 design, build, present and race their version of a future Formula 1 model car.
The winners of the final development and professional categories, which are being held at St Colman's College, will advance to the UK final at Silverstone with a chance to compete in the international final.
