Fresh appeal over crash that left man 'critical'

Police have renewed an appeal for witnesses to a serious crash on the A1 which has left a man in a critical condition in hospital.

One car was involved in the collision which happened at around 12:30pm on Tuesday the 18th July near Sheepbridge outside Newry.

The blue Toyota Rav 4 had been northbound but crashed through the central reservation, ending up in the southbound carriageway.

Officers are keen for witnesses to get in touch.
