The 'Friends’ Goodwill' festival launches in Larne later, with a series of free events until Sunday.

Three hundred years ago 'Friends’Goodwill' ship left Larne for America, the first Ulster emigrants to the New World.

Historian Doctor David Hume wrote a musical about their journey entitled "American Dreams", which previewed in Larne last night.
