A number of homes have been evacuated in a security alert in west Belfast.
A suspicious object was found in the Slieveban Avenue area of Andersonstown this morning.
Army bomb teams have been tasked to the scene, however no main roads have been closed.
Police say the suspicious object was found at around 11.30am.
There are no further details at this stage.
