An infant mental health strategy's been launched by the Northern Trust to intervene in a child's first three years of development.
The multi-agency action plan will introduce a system of monitoring their mental wellbeing alongside parents.
A child's first 36 months have been proven to establish practices that they can take into adulthood.
The Trust hopes the new strategy will go some way to tackling mental health in later years.
