Bangor backs traumatised teen - as family says she might never recover from ordeal

Hundreds of people have taken part in a vigil in Bangor to show support for the teenager attacked in the town at the weekend.

A 16-year-old girl suffered serious facial injuries after being repeatedly punched and kicked on the ground at Bangor marina on Friday night. 

Police have called it "a particularly vicious attack on a young girl."

Footage was posted on social media and a number of people have been charged.

The girl's cousin has told Q Radio the young victim's been left traumatised...

She has been paying tribute to her much-loved relative...

And the local woman fears her cousin might never fully recover from her ordeal...
