Mystery surrounds how a man found unresponsive in a Randalstown nursing home bed came to have marks on his neck.
That's what a coroner's court has heard.
56 year old Seamus McCollum, who suffered cerebral palsy, was discovered at Maine Nursing Home in September 2011.
The court heard there was a difference of opinion among experts over potential causes of the marks, which were consistent with a compression of the neck.
Coroner Joe McCrisken has set aside three days for a full inquest without a jury, at Belfast Laganside Court later this month.
