Police believe a loud bang heard in Lurgan last night was the result of a large firework going off.
Officers responded to the attempted arson of a vehicle in Belvedere Manor area after receiving a number of calls.
The Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service was also on scene, and says its personnel extinguished a small blaze at the rear of the vehicle.
It's understood damage to the vehicle was not extensive and was limited to the exterior bodywork.
A spokesperson for the PSNI is appealing for information.
