Ulster player Rob Herring says the club was left in "sadness" at hearing Paddy Jackson and Stuart Olding would be leaving.

The Irish Internationals had their contracts terminated after they were acquitted in their high-profile rape trial.

They had faced criticism for the content of explicit Whatsapp messages revealed in court.

The Hooker has read a statement during a press conference at Kingspan this afternoon.
