Man critical after assault - suspect held on suspicion of attempted murder

A man in his 30s is in a critical condition in hospital after an assault in north Belfast on Friday morning.

Police were alerted to an altercation at a property in Flax Street at around 6.40am.

A 30-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
