The incident happened early on Tuesday morning

A twenty-year-old man has been arrested by police in relation to a hit and run collision in Crossmaglen, on suspicion of a number of motoring offences.

A man remains in a critical condition after being involved in a hit and run in Crossmaglen.

He was hit by a car in Cardinal O'Fiaich Square, early on Tuesday morning.

A twenty-year-old man has been arrested by police in relation to the incident.

The suspect's been interviewed and released on police bail pending further enquiries.
