A man has been arrested in Creggan Heights in Derry Londonderry over a shooting.
The incident happened at a home in the Ballymagowan area on Thursday, 5th January.
The 26-year-old is being questioned by detectives investigating dissident republican activity.
A spokesperson for the PSNI said: "Detectives from Serious Crime Branch investigating dissident republican activity have arrested a 26 year old man in the Creggan Heights area of Derry/Londonderry this morning.
"This is in in relation to a shooting incident at a house in the Ballymagowan area on Thursday, 5th January."
