A 36-year-old man has been charged following a kidnapping incident in the King Street area of Newcastle in Co Down over the weekend.
The incident involved a man in his 40s being kidnapped by two men, doused in fuel and threatened to be set alight in exchange for money on Sunday night.
Police say he was taken to a carpark in the Oldtown Road area of Annalong just after 9pm before he was doused and threatened.

While the man was physically unharmed and no money was given, he was left badly shaken.
The 36-year-old man is facing a number of charges, including threats to kill, kidnapping, common assault and aggravated burglary.
He is due to appear at Newry Magistrates Court next month.
A 31-year-old man has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
