A man has been charged with a number of offences including causing grievous bodily harm with intent following a serious assault in Belfast city centre last month.
The incident happened at a flat in the Great Victoria Street area on August 3rd.
A 37-year-old man, who lives in the flat, was left in a critical condition in hospital as a result.
The 30-year-old suspect also faces charges including aggravated burglary with intent and possessing an offensive weapon with intent.
He is expected to appear before Belfast Magistrates' Court tomorrow 2nd September.
As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
