The PSNI's charged a man with firearm and drugs offences after searching an address in Newtownards.
We're told the 41-year-old was arrested after the operation in Blenheim Drive yesterday.
He's accused of having a firearm in suspicious circumstances and possessing class B substances.
The man is due before Downpatrick Magistrates Court on Monday 1st October.
A spokesperson for the PSNI said: "As is usual procedure the charges will be reviewed by the PPS."
