A man has died following a road collision in Co Fermanagh.
Police said Shane Caulfield, 21, from the Portadown area, was pronounced dead at the scene in Maguiresbridge following the incident in the early hours of Friday.
A police spokesperson said they received a report at around 1.30am on Friday of a single vehicle collision involving a grey Volkswagen Golf on the Belfast Road.
The driver of the car was arrested.
“Officers attended, alongside colleagues from other emergency services. Medical treatment was provided to a male driver, and female passenger – they were taken onward to hospital for treatment to non-life-threatening injuries at this time,” they said.
“Sadly, however, a second passenger in the vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene. He has been named as 21-year-old Shane Caulfield from the Portadown area.
“Police have also arrested the driver on suspicion of a number of related offences.”
