A 30 year-old man is due in court charged with a number of offences including attempted murder and possesion of an offensive weapon.
It's after shots were fired at a house in the Brustin Brae area of the town during the early hours of Monday morning.
The accused faces charges of aggravated vehicle taking and hijacking aswell.
The suspect has also been charged with possesing an offensive weapon in the Antrim area on the 18th of August.
He will appear before Ballymena Magistrates today.
