A 37-year-old man is due in court in Ballymena later after the seizure of cannabis worth half a million pounds.
He is charged with possession of a Class B controlled drug, possession of a Class B controlled drug with intent to supply, and possession of an offensive weapon.
This follows a proactive policing operation yesterday, Tuesday 9 March, at Larne Harbour, during which detectives from the Police Service’s Organised Crime Unit worked alongside Border Force, HMRC, and Roads and District Policing colleagues.
