A man's been taken to hospital following a paramilitary style shooting in West Belfast.

It happened in the Ardmonagh Parade area just after 8 last night.

The victim - in his 50's - was shot in both knees.

Police are appealing for witnesses.

Police currently at scene of a paramilitary style shooting in Ardmonagh Parade,west Belfast. Report received around 8:05pm that a man in his 50s was shot in both knees.He’s been taken to hospital for treatment.Witnesses or anyone with info call 101; quote reference 1162 23/03/19.
