Detectives investigating the attempted murder of police in Derry Londonderry have questioned a 38-year-old man.
It's over an incident in Ballyarnett Village in October 2014.
The man - arrested on supicion of posessing explosives with intent to endanger life has been released and a report will go to prosecutors.
A spokesperson for the PSNI said: "Detectives from PSNI's Serious Crime Branch investigating the attempted murder of police at Ballyarnett Village in October 2014, arrested a 38 year old man in Derry/ Londonderry this morning (Wednesday 20th September) on suspicion of possession of explosives with intent to endanger life.
"The man was later released after questioning and a report will be forwarded to the PPS."
