The man seriously assaulted in Ballymena last weekend is now understood to have left hospital.
The 37 year old was attacked by four or five men in the North Road area.
It happened around half-three on Sunday 29 January.
The culprits made off towards the Cullybackey Road.
The man suffered fractures and facial injuries and his condition was initially described as 'serious'.
