A botched DETI scheme to cut fossil fuel use could mean local Council services here being cash-strapped for years.

That's Glenravel Councillor, Paul Maguire's fear.

The 'Renewable Energy Scheme' was set up to encourage a switch to biomass heating systems.

It was thought Wesminster would pay, but it emerged the cost had to come out of Stomont's own budget.
