A new Guinness World Record in GAA will be attempted next month.
The ‘Marathon Match’ will be the longest Gaelic game ever played – at a record breaking 24 hours.
Two charities will benefit – Cancer Focus NI and the Michaela Foundation.
The game is due to take place on January 7 and 8 at the Garvaghey Centre, near Ballygawley.
Around 42 players will take part.
If they complete the feat, the match will be entered into the Guinness Book of Records.
