Men released on police bail in connection with Broughshane assault

Four men, arrested following an assault on a man in Broughshane on Saturday, have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.

It happened in the Whinsmoor Park area between 8.30pm and 9.30pm.

The men are aged between 31 and 58.

Police received a report that four men jumped out a car and attacked a man with a metal bar.

Detectives have appealed to witnesses to come forward.
