There's been a mixed response to road resurfacing in the area.

Councillor Terry Hearty welcomes news of the development of Monog Road in Crossmaglen.

But Crotlieve councillor Declan McAteer says there are many rural roads in the Mournes in desperate need of repair.

He doesn't believe they're a priority:
