MLA Frew offers to help fix damaged People's Park

An MLA is urging Mid and East Antrim Council to prioritise the restoration of Ballymena's People's Park.

Sunday's arson attack severely damaged its very popular climbing frame, which is now out-of-bounds.

Repairs could cost over £65 000 and take all summer long.

Paul Frew says he understands Council needs to structurally assess the damage and abide by procedures, including health and safety.

But, with that proviso, he's made this unusual offer:
