A 25-year-old man has been arrested as part of an investigation into allegations of iil-treatment of patients at Muckamore Abbey Hospital.
The suspect was detained in the Antrim area today.
The County Antrim hospital has been the subject of a major police investigation into allegations that staff physically and mentally abused several patients.
The man arrested today is the ninth person arrested as part of the probe.
There are no further details at this time.
