A pensioner discovered trapped underneath a tractor in north Antrim has died in a Belfast hospital from his injuries.
John Jamison had been working with the tractor near his home on the Bregagh Road outside Armoy village when he got into difficulties.
The alarm was raised just before midday yesterday.
The tractor was removed with a telehandler and Mr. Jamison was taken by air ambulance to the Royal Victoria Hospital where he later died.from his injuries.
An investigation is underway to determine how long the 79 year old had been trapped for - amid speculation it may have been for some time.
The Fire and Rescue Service, the PSNI, the Ambulance Service and the Air Ambulance attended the scene.
