The number of people detected drink driving has risen across the west.
Thirty four people were apprehended in Mid-Ulster during the recent winter operation – that’s up from 28 the previous year.
And thirty two people were caught in Fermanagh and Omagh between November and January – up from 26 during the same period last year.
The figures go against the Northern Ireland wide trend.
Across the province, the number of motorists detected drink driving is down very slightly by 4% - compared to the same time last year.
