Shooting and attacking drug users is not the solution to Northern Ireland's drug crisis.
That was the message at a a packed public meeting in Derry-Londonderry last night.
The meeting was addressed by former drug addict Brendan Magee,representatives from Foyle Search and Rescue, HURT and the Northlands Centre.
Dublin-based social activist Father McVerry was there and told QRadio opening lines of communication with drugs users was the answer.
