The wife of a gravely ill Portglenone man is pinning her hopes on potential life-saving treatment.
Kevin Carey who has an aggressive grade four brain tumour first became unwell during a trip to Portstewart last year. And his wife Natasha is now trying to raise £205 000 for pioneering immunotherapy in London.
So friends and family of 35-year-old Kevin are setting up a gofundme page to help raise the cash which could provide a lifeline for the former GAA player.
