Police officers in the city describe how chase turned into a scene from the 'hot fuzz' movie in a stolen car incident.

Two men have been arrested after they were found in possession of a stolen car.

The vehicle sped past police in the Cornshell Fields area on Friday night.

The men then abandoned the car and tried to flee the scene.

Following their apprehension, they were arrested for multiple offences.

The car has now been returned to the owner.
