The PSNI is warning members of the public to be on the look out for an email claiming to be from England, Wales and Northern Ireland policing forces.
The scam aims to trick internet users in to thinking they've been summoned to court as a witness to give evidence.
However, the actual police here has said for people not to click the link as it's more than likely a bid to take personal and online credentials or to even create a malware virus.
Received this email and think you have been called as a witness. In true panto style ... oh no you haven't!

Remember take five and don't click on the link. Curiosity might just lead to malware or the loss of your online credentials. #PSNICyberProtect @GetSafeOnline @TakeFive pic.twitter.com/TyMFrT6jl4
