Police are investigating a series of incidents which occurred in the Ballynahinch area and may be connected.
A shop worker was threatened by a man armed with a knife in the High Street area at around 2.30pm yesterday.
The suspect asked the woman working to give him money from the till and when no money was handed over, he made off towards the Windmill Street area.
He is described as wearing a black coloured face mask, a grey woolly hat, grey tracksuit bottoms, a black padded coat and blue surgical gloves.

Meanwhile, shortly after at 5.20pm it was reported entry had been gained to a house in the Croob Park area.
The woman who lived in the house saw an unknown man inside, who fled the scene on foot following the incident.
Police say he was described as wearing a dark coloured jacket, dark coloured tracksuit bottoms and trainers.

At around 5.40pm, a one vehicle road traffic collision was reported in the Dunmore Road area of Ballynahinch involving a grey Mazda car.
The car was reported stolen during a creeper style burglary at the Woodridge area of the town.
This morning at around 8.35am police received a separate report that a Ford Fiesta was stolen during a creeper style burglary at the Ballymaglave Road area, sometime between 1am and 5.30am.
Police say entry was gained to the property with two set of keys taken.
The vehicle was spotted travelling along the Crumlin Road area of Belfast at around 5.55am and remains outstanding.
Police are appealing to anyone with information.
