People living in the Derry City and Strabane district should expect some disruptions to council services and changes to opening times, due to snow and the adverse weather conditions.
A council spokesperson says cemeteries will remain closed with access only for funerals until further notice.
Recycling centres are currently closed, however, works being done to resume normal services as soon as possible.
All sports pitches will remain closed throughout the day.
Street cleansing has been disrupted by the weather and there may be disruptions to bin collection services.
There may also be restricted access to some bin collection routes due to the slippery conditions.
Local parks will be open today but opening may be delayed at some sites.
The council spokesperson says, "Please take care if using due to the icy conditions."
Derry City and Strabane District Council will provide updates on any changes.
