Police say a suspicious object found in the Hannahstown area on the outskirts of west Belfast has been examined and declared as being 'nothing untoward'.
A security alert was sparked earlier this afternoon following the discovery of the object on the Wheelers Road.
The alert has now ended and the road has re-opened.
A spokesperson for the PSNI says, "Police would like to thank the public for their patience."
