A 15-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent after a 14-year-old was assaulted in Derry/Londonderry.
Police were called to the Clon Elagh area of the city in the early hours of this morning to reports that two people were causing damage to the front door of a property.
The victim was taken to hospital after suffering head injuries.
The 15-year-old remains in police custody at this time.
Enquiries are continuing and police are asking anyone with any information to contact them on 101, quoting reference number 9 28/07/21.
