A sixteen year old girl has suffered serious injuries after being hit by a car in Lurgan.
The collision happened on Lake Street shortly at around 9.40pm last night.
Sergeant Mel Gibson said:
“Lake Street was closed for several hours overnight while officers investigated the collision involving a car and a pedestrian. The 16 year old female pedestrian was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
“We are appealing for witnesses to the collision or anyone who recalls seeing the car prior to the collision, to get in touch as soon as possible to assist the investigation.
“Anyone with information that could assist the investigation should contact Police at Lurgan on 101 quoting Reference number 1310 29/07/16.”
