Three men aged 18, 19 and 22 are due in court today, charged with burglary and going equipped. It relates to three burglaries in Antrim on Wednesday.
They occurred in the Aghaboy Gardens, Garden Village and Ballycraigy Drive areas of the town.
A short time later a police patrol in the Stoneyford Road area observed an old style blue Audi being driven in the direction of Dundrod with three men on board.
Police signalled the car to stop but it continued towards Lisburn. One man made off on foot when the car stopped on Pond Park Road before it continued on the Derriaghy Road in the direction of Belfast.
It came to a stop on McKinstry Road when the remaining two occupants made off on foot. Both men were detained by police a short time later and the third man was arrested in the Beech Hill Park area of Lisburn on Wednesday evening.
The 19 year old has also been charged with a burgling a house in Ahoghill earlier this month.
