Three men have been arrested by Gardai in County Cavan as part of an investigation into dissident republican activity.
It follows a significant search operation at a number of premises this morning.
The suspects were detained and are currently being held under the provisions of Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act at Garda Stations in Cavan.
A garda statement said, "This search and arrest operation is part of the ongoing intelligence led policing strategy of An Garda Siochána, with the objective of targeting, disrupting and prosecuting those involved in violent dissident republicanism."
