Two children have been hospitalised after being struck by a car in County Down.
It happened on the Scarva Road in Banbridge this afternoon.
The ten and eleven year old's have been taken to hospital.
One of the girls was taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast whilst the other was taken to Craigavon area.
It's understood both suffered from head injuries.
One of the girls was also treated for neck injuries and a broken leg.
People at the scene described how the front of the car had been dented and the windsreen was smashed.
The road was closed in both directions.
