A 68 year old man from Fivemiletown was convicted on 11 September, 2017 at Dungannon Magistrates' Court for a number of offences relating to illegal taxi activity.
On Friday 18 Novemeber 2016, Mr James Irwin was using his cars to carry passengers for reward at Main Street, Fivemiletown.
Further checks carried out at the time by DVA enforcement, revealed that Mr Irwin did not hold the requisite taxi licenses or insurance.
The 68 year old was fined £200 for no Taxi Operator's License, £200 for no Taxi Vehicle, £250 for no Taxi Driver's License and £400 for no insurance.
The court also imposed a nine month driving disqualification and ordered him to forfeit the offending vehicle.
